Included in the Complete plan
Client Accounting
Rent collection and landlord statements, held in a properly segregated client money ledger.
Segregated client money
Rent collected on a landlord's behalf is held in a segregated client money account, kept properly apart from the agency's own funds - the same client-money pattern the Finance module uses for a different context, applied here to an agency's own regulatory obligations around client money.
Recording a transaction
Every transaction against a client money account is recorded individually - rent in, fees deducted, the balance paid out to the landlord - so the account's history is a full, auditable record, not just a running total.
Landlord statements
A landlord statement can be produced at any time straight from the transactions recorded against their account - no separate spreadsheet kept in parallel to generate it from.
