Before you start
Connect your own storage bucket (S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob) from Settings - uploads are rejected until a bucket is connected, since documents are never stored on a shared platform bucket. Your files, your account, your storage costs - nothing routes through a Noviqent-owned bucket.
Uploading and organising
A document can be linked to whatever it actually belongs to - a matter, a mortgage case, a property, a contact - so opening that record shows every file attached to it, rather than searching a flat, unstructured folder for the right one.
Sending something for signature
- Upload the document
- Connect DocuSign or Adobe Sign from Settings, if you haven't already
- Open the document and send it for signature with the signer's name and email
- Refresh status to check progress - once signed, the completed copy is stored automatically as a new document
