Key concepts

Companies and Contacts are your core records. Deals move through a Pipeline of stages you define (with a "won" and "lost" stage marked). Activities - notes, calls, and emails - log against a contact or a deal.

One CRM, three applications

There isn't a separate "Sales CRM", "Property CRM", and "Recruiter CRM" as three different products - it's the same Companies/Contacts/Deals/Pipeline engine, seeded with a different pipeline depending on what your organisation needs it for:

Sales: a general-purpose pipeline for any team selling to businesses or consumers.

Property: the same engine, running two dedicated pipelines (Sales and Lettings) alongside the Property module's own listings, applicants, and viewings.

Recruiter/ATS: candidates are Deals in a seeded "Recruiting" pipeline (Applied → Screening → Interview → Offer → Hired), attached to a Job Opening rather than a Company.

Whichever of these your organisation has enabled, contacts, companies, activity logging, and mailbox sync all work exactly the same way underneath.

How to work a deal

  1. Add a Company, then a Contact under it (or capture one straight from pasted text with natural-language intake)
  2. Create a Deal, attach it to the contact/company, and set its value
  3. Move the deal between pipeline stages as it progresses
  4. Log calls, notes, and emails against the contact or deal as you go

Syncing your mailbox

Connect your own Office 365, Gmail, or IMAP mailbox from the CRM section. Once connected, emails to and from your contacts appear automatically on their activity timeline - this is per-user, so each teammate connects their own inbox.

Inbound call screen-pop

VOIP settings (Twilio, Vonage, or Aircall) are connected once, centrally, from Settings. From then on, an inbound call to a connected number matches the caller against your contacts and pops a summary before anyone picks up - who's calling, their recent deals, and their last few notes and emails - so the call starts with context instead of "who is this?"

Every call is logged automatically to the contact's activity timeline, with an AI-generated summary filled in once the call finishes.

Marketing emails

Send a formatted marketing email to a group of contacts - filtered by tag or lead score, or picked individually - straight from the CRM. Opens and clicks are tracked per recipient and show up on both the campaign and the individual contact's timeline, so you can see who actually engaged.

Lead capture forms

Embed a form on your own website that creates a real Contact (and optionally a Deal) the moment someone submits it - no manual re-entry, no separate spreadsheet to reconcile against the pipeline.

Tasks

Tasks sit alongside contacts and deals - due today, overdue, or upcoming - and can be linked to either. Home shows what's due today at a glance, so nothing waits for someone to remember to check the pipeline.

Workflow automation

Set a trigger - a contact created, a deal moving to a given stage, or a tag being added - and a workflow runs its actions immediately: create a task, update a field, or send a notification email. No separate automation platform to wire up; it runs inline as part of the CRM itself.

Dashboards & reporting

Beyond the built-in win-rate, cycle-time, and pipeline-value dashboards, a custom report builder lets you chart any combination of entity, group-by, and metric - including a funnel view of deals by pipeline stage - as a bar, line, pie, or funnel chart.

Standalone CRM, or built into your Business Operations Platform

Everything above is included free the moment CRM is enabled on your Business Operations Platform account. It's also available as its own product at crm.noviqent.co.uk, with self-serve Starter/Professional/Business plans billed by Direct Debit - a base price for your first seat, plus a flat per-seat rate for each teammate after that, with a free trial before your first collection.
